Lynn’s Lids has a facebook page, but their model for pages isn’t that great, since they only display updates on about 30% of a page’s fan news streams. They would like to make money by making page owners spend via the “Boost Post” button. So, I’d rather keep folks up to date here.
Besides, WordPress is searchable, keeps great archives, has an RSS feed, you can subscribe via email, and it is easy to use. So, why not use it?
If you’d like to get to my webpage, please click the Lynn’s Lids logo on the right.
And to get things started, I’d like to announce that I’ll be at the 2013 Danforth East Arts Fair, which is at East Lynn Park (on the south side of Danforth Ave, just west of Woodbine in Toronto) on September 14 & 15 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. I’m pretty excited to have my Sheepy Wool Dryer Balls on the poster and postcard (click for full size)!
Another juried show this fall that Lynn’s Lids has been accepted to is The Bazaar of the Bizarre Halloween Extravaganza on October 12 at 918 Bathurst St. (between Bloor and Dupont in Toronto) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Stay tuned for photos of lids and fibre art I’ll be bringing along to the fairs and other fairs I’ll be attending.
I’ll also be teaching a few felting courses in the neighbourhood this fall, and will link to that as soon as the information is up!
